Dr. Oscar Gonzalez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has over 18 years of experience in helping families with psychosocial treatment coordination and psychotherapeutic counseling for issues such as depression, anxiety, suicide intervention, and complex trauma. He utilizes evidence-based therapeutic interventions within a trauma-informed framework to improve patient outcomes. He has worked with families and caregivers of children living with neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism, Intellectual Disability, and comorbid diagnosis of Epilepsy.
Dr. Gonzalez's leadership roles have equipped him with extensive skills and experience to support his role as a state board-approved clinical supervisor, providing clinical supervision hours to social workers in both Texas and Florida seeking to complete requirements for their licensed clinical social work board exam.
Dr. Gonzalez has passed the exam to become Certified in Public Health (CPH) through The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE), which enables his ability to evaluate large system changes and the impact social issues may have on family systems and communities.
