A: No, Clever Path does not provide medication intervention, and only offers talk therapy
Q: Will people find out I am in therapy at Clever Path such as loved ones or my work?
A: No, we do not disclose private counseling information to anyone, as confidentiality is strictly practiced and is needed to ensure emotional safety in your therapeutic recovery.
Q: What if I do not want to continue therapy?
A: A client may discontinue treatment at their discretion as we promote an open and healing environment that encourages freedom of choice.
Q: What if I am experiencing serious suicidal thoughts with a plan to harm myself?
A: Clever path has a responsiblity to maintain confidentiality but cannot allow clients with true intention of dying by suicide to remain unsafe and will act responsibly to ensure safety at all times.
Q:Can I include family or partners in my individual sessions?
A:A client particiipating in individual therapy is encouraged to participate in their own healing process. Inclusion of loved ones, family or peers will change the dynamic and session type.
Q: Can I ask Clever Path to respond to outside agencies confirmation that I am in therapy?
A: No, Clever Path will not provide waivers for outside agencies or legal agencies requesting confirmation of client's participation in therapy work. This would compromise the emotional safety of the client's recovery in counseling.
Q: How long before I start to feel better in therapy at Clever Path?
A: Therapy is an individual experience and process. Treatment time can vary depending on the nature of the problem and the client's willingness to participate. Some clients may begin to heal within weeks and others may require longer treatment such as months or even years. Discussion of treatment length will always be offered at Clever Path to encourage collaboration between therapist and client.
